To be fully appreciated, this needs to be viewed large to see the fine detail of the frost on the surrounding vegetation — just beautiful. Based on the sharpness of the vegetation, it appears that critical focus was just a touch in front of the owl. The black and white conversion is very attractive.

I like the setting for this owl-it is unusual. The frosty vegetation almost looks like infrared. Love the owl's perky look as in whooo are yooooou? :). I'd be tempted to crop a little off the right side for more balance in the composition.
