What a beautiful scene, Ron- The painting works so well on this, retaining the light and shadows while accenting the trees so nicely. I like how the eye is taken on a zig-zag course back to the last tree and then fades into the distance. Definitely needs to be seen in the shadow box. Just a very pleasing , snowy scene that makes me feel the freshness of the snow, like I see and love at home.

This is so well done. The few colors with this effect show off the contour of the hillside. Yes, it is a must to view the image on darker background.
