I’m an offspring-proclaimed “nature freak,” and am self-proclaimed artistically challenged, so I hope I’m not damning with faint praise - I think this is excellent! I do miss the head reflection, though.

The vintage look does your image justice. Love the simplicity and the use of negative space. Well done!

Very nice rendition for that vintage look- makes me think of a charming old post card. Very serene in mood too.

Craig,   Thanks for your comment. I agree with you,  a full reflection would have been made it more complete. So Based on your comment, I looked for pictures in the series, to see if any of the pictures had the full reflection. I guess this is best I could do handheld with a 600mm.  Well next time I have to remember ..

Lovely minimalist, peaceful feel to this serene scene, Srirama. Your post processing is the perfect finishing touch to this elegant subject. Well done!

One tiny nit - there is a slight tilt to the right, the reflection doesn't quite line up with the egret. A little counter clockwise rotation would correct this.

Wonderful mood created in this image. As was said, I do wish the reflection were either complete with the head or cut off more so it wouldn't draw so much attention.
