A year-round resident where I live- always hitching head-first down a tree, or "yank-yanking at me-especially if the suet supply is gone!

A few tweaks and a light application of Topaz Impression.

I would like it more if your name was not on it so bigly. For me it is a visual distraction from the image and the bird.

A classic pose of this lovely little Nuthatch, Cindy. Wonderful eye contact, beautiful detail, and great composition. The little snow flakes emphasize the winter season and really make the image. Beautiful work.

Perhaps you are right. I was aiming for the Chinese Brush Painting effect- something I studied for real some years ago. I wish I could write my name in real Chinese letters. Here it is as my teacher wrote it for me. No idea what is actually says- it is 3 words on the phonetic sounds of my name.

Classic pose, beautifully captured - and perfectly enhanced by your artistic flair, Cindy! This is superb and your signature doesn't spoil anything for me. This would make a very pretty card or note card, in my opinion.

Love the softness and snow here. Classic pose, and tweaked to perfection, imo. Sig. doesn't bother me a bit..

this is a real beaut Cindy.  love the effect you have created... love to see more of your signatures if this is a guide....

Edit.. actually, I think the real distraction is that fluffy thing and all that lovely stuff...  taking my eye away from that exquisite detail in the authors name.   :D
