Photographed this very small snail with a macro lens and painted it in Topaz Impression II. Please click on image to view it full size. Thank you.

Interesting work Ron...you make it look like a fiberglass ornament.

Beautiful Ron! The texture is so delicate and soft-a real transformation of elements. The yellows and that glimmer of iridescence are delicious-I want to stroke this -it is sort of blanket -like. Maybe snuggle up inside and hibernate. :). (It's -10 degrees here today....).

A real gem-you way beyond a simple application, to an artistic expression.

Incredible. It is almost like a master's painter from turn of century. I have viewed this several times. So interesting!

This makes me think of mother of pearl and the softest silken fibre all blended together, and like Cindy, I want to gently touch it - it has such an alluring appeal.  A wonderful abstract study of lines, form and texture.  Quite incredibly beautiful, Ron!  8)
