I photographed this immature Bald Eagle on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska while it was fishing over Cook Inlet, and processed the image with Topaz Impression II & Topaz B&W Effects II. Please click on the image to see the large uncompressed view. Thank you. Nikon DX, Nikkor 300mm f/2.8, f/4 @ 1/500.

Fabulous photo Ron! Love the background enhancement-really brings out the drama of the eagle's post. So intense! Top notch!

Some (maybe most) wildlife shots have to be in colour for my tastes, but this is one that crosses that line beautifully and becomes even more powerful and compelling as a black and white image, Ron! I love what you have done with this gorgeous eagle and it would make such an amazing print whether large or small - although a large print would be absolutely stunning!
