Autumn trees and beams of light

Taken before the fierce autumn storm this weekend..... which removed most foliage..... :(

It's been brilliant autumn though, with wonderful colours and light.

Tried to give this image a painterly ethereal feel.

Nikon D500 with Nikkor 16-80mm. PS with Nik SW.

There is something so magical about walking through deciduous woodland, and it becomes even more so when the sun's rays penetrate the tree canopy. Beautiful mood with this one Sinuhe!

You definitely achieved a painterly ethereal feel in this image. What software and technique did you use to achieve this result? The sun beams are beautiful.
