This Raven gets around! (It is a juvenile that was yelling at it's parent in my yard one day- the sound of a hungry Raven far surpasses a croaking adult! The pumpkin is one I saw on a porch, long past it's day as a jack-o-lantern, all smushed up, but still, like all of us aging , somewhat resembling it's former self. (Toothless...);).
I thought the two made for great companionship on an impossible perch for a pumpkin.  A composite, and lots of tweaks, painting, etc.

A wonderful pairing of young and old – the young raven standing tall and calling next to the old toothless jack-o-lantern on its last leg, friends through the worst of times, until the very end. A very unique and creative image. Really nice work, Cindy!

Poor old pumpkin, old age has no respect for anything!  :(

Wonderful creation Cindy but your first one was so superb that anything else is going to have a hard fight to compare.  :)
