Just a bit of fun!

This started off as a macro image of a hover fly on a lily.  Many tweaks later, and using Liquify to paint the amber effect, I had the illusion of a piece of amber which I thought might make a nice brooch.  :D

This is wonderful – a hover fly trapped in amber. The three star lights, ideally positioned, really make the amber come to life and sparkle. It is a lovely brooch, presented perfectly for my tastes with the border and dark background. Such a creative and beautiful piece, Carol! :D

Oh, wow-beautiful brooch! You made an amazing transformation from lily/fly to this! Love the sparkles and delicious feel of the "amber". I just want to run my hand over the surface. The edge design is also so very lovely-it even works in perspective- -something I suspect is hard to get right. Altogether a totally charming piece. Maybe a jeweler could use the design to make a real brooch. :).

Love it! Very creative and artistic, yet still with a sense of order and balance.

So creative and artistic Carol, like the geometrical balance at periphery and 3D feel on the amber...beautifully done.
