in two minds on this image. Truthfully, the image has power and interest but the frame is so large it over powers it for me. Like what you have done on the frame, but it takes away from the image. maybe I'm missing something. Almost like 25% of this is the frame.

I have to agree with Dave. When we have to limit the size of our images it is a shame when such a large proportion is taken up by a frame. You produce some stunning images Arabinda, and this looks to be a beautiful artwork with such a rich and dramatic colour palette - if only we could see it at full size.

Hi Arabinda

Have to agree with Dave about the frame-the white is especially distracting. But- the picture itself is quite wonderful. It reminds me a bit of a Maxfield Parrish painting with those intense blues , dramatic sky, and strong shapes. The upward thrust of the sun's rays and the tree are exciting! I want to see just the image in much larger format-maybe just a thin edge around it? I think this has a lot of potential!

I REALLY like the new , larger version. It could still use a frame, I think, just not such a massive one. I agree with Ron about the wood in the frame, but the white edge seemed a bit bright to me. Here's a novel idea-print this up and put it in a real frame! It would be gorgeous!

How did you make the frame you originally had? It was impressive as a simulated frame.

By the way, if you want to add a new image to an existing thread like this one, use "post a reply" at the top of the page, rather than "quick reply". Then you can add a new picture within the thread.
