A rose from the house where I grew up (sort of!!!). Probably the last from this bush for the summer. It is the most fragrant rose I have ever smelled. It was wet from rain.
Samsung S8, 4.25mm, f 1.7, 1/1332 sec., slightly processed in LR after in camera (phone) editing.
All C&C welcome.

Joe, such a special rose! The last rose of the summer from your childhood home taken with a phone camera, and it is beautiful. Love the color, exposure, detail and lighting. The rain drops add interest, and my favorite feature is the feeling of depth and dimension you created – great depth of field. The perfect example of the type of great image that can be captured with a phone camera. Bravo! :D

What a beauty! I just want to bury my nose in those gorgeous petals and enjoy the scent.

What a delicious rose, Joe! it's so perfect. Have to agree with Ron's evaluation-great depth and color....and yes, we need smell-a-vision in this case! Just beautiful.

Thanks to all of you for your comments. This was posted here because, even though it looks like it could be a straight shot, it was changed considerably. I am going to post a sunflower shortly that was processed in a similar manner, along with a link to a straight shot to show an example of the changes made.
