Sorry to disrespect monsieur Tyto Alba, but there is a history to that title.   Bit of Topaz Glow..... probably worth a look larger

What a clever way to show off a mysterious visitor. It looks like it's peering through a keyhole...in a barn, of all places? OK, what's the story?? ;). Peek-a-boo?

Very cool in any case.

the owl on this occasion Cindy was just peeking out from a hole in the barn.  The story goes back way into the last century...lol.  well, nearer 1994...

years back I was lecturing at a local camera club, and thinking the audience was going to sleep when I showed a Barn Owl, I described it as Barnus Owlus to see if there'd be a response.  not a ripple...   two years later I was Judging at the same club and a print came up, being described as Barnus Owlus... withholding the mirth in my mind I enquired as to the title with the response being I had described it as such two years previous...  A memory that will stay with me and still provides entertainment.

Great job of lining up the hole with the owl's eye, Dave. Very unique and unusual. Love the colors in the background, and Topaz Glow did a beautiful job on the plumage of the owl. Wonderful story, too! :)

Love it - very unique!
The texture on the owl is perfect, to accentuate the feathers, and beautiful eye.
Nice!
Sandy.
