I'm really having fun with these!
Hope you all enjoy -

These guys are so funny - remind me of Goofy, the cartoon character.  They don't mind tiny bugs, and flip them into the air to catch.

We had 6 of them pecking the heck out of our truck bumper for 20 minutes. Don't know if they were pecking at their reflections, or trying to get the (many) dead bugs we had accumulated. They actually made some dents that the rental company didn't much appreciate...

I love it!  These wonderful birds are such characters, and for me, one of THE 'sounds' of Africa with their booming call. :D

What a character! This one really made me smile-love the expression and the little bug dangling from it's beak. This is a great series of sketches-I'm really enjoying them.

This has an air of humor in it.  We have a bird with a very large bill and a teeny little bug. And the look in its eye says "well, at least I caught it." Enjoyed this one very much, Sandy! :D

He does look a little embarrassed by the small catch.
I love the whole series.
