Here's another critter created from a photo of a stump transformed with Photoshop "liquify".

Brilliant!

I love it when you do these crazy conversions on the old stumps of dried wood.  It really shows your creativity and your artistic 'eye' with such a fantastic mystical dragon.  The fluid movement of liquify is a perfect choice to give life to this wonderful creature.  :P

I agree! Brilliant creative work, Cindy! Love the squiggly tail and legs on the dragon, and note that it could be a "Stump Gator" too with a little imagination. The foreground and background swirls remind me of water, which makes the vegetation on which the critter is resting that much more significant in the image. Finally, your frame is perfect with tones complimenting those in the image. As Carol noted, this creation actually reveals your "artistic eye." Such imaginative and fanciful work!!! :)

Really like the swirling water here. Also like the addition of the frame!

Cindy, really amazing how you can take something more benign, and magically "create" something, using your wonderful imagination!  Great the way the bottom portion reminds me of motion-blur flowing water and love the crazy abstract "sky."  The foliage, being a bit more distinct, grounds the image very nicely.  Marvelous creation as per your usual - you just pull them out of your hat :).

Never-ending talent and creativity in this Forum! Love this!
Stumps seem to work especially well with liquify.
