The "eyes" have it Andre! Really smashing image , beautifully composed and so wonderfully colorful- really mesmerizing! Thinking about your other recent poster post, I am wondering if this show is going to be all "eyes". That would be a powerful theme. Whether it is eyes or not, this is certainly has that WOW factor. Nice work!

Another impressive macro pop art piece, Andre. The color here, particularly the yellows and greens in the background, work extremely well together, and provide a lot of impact. And I think it is nice that the insect in this one is more subdued - it is set off beautifully by the striking background color. 8)

To me the background takes on the appearance of a fine art stained glass window, while the moth seems to be crafted from soft leather! I agree with Cindy that the 'eyes' hold centre stage and draw me right in to appreciate the artwork as a whole. Click to see the larger version with the dark background for the full effect of this beauty!

A few years ago we had fun with different themes for digital art, one of them was 'Eyes'. I'll have to see if I can find one.
