An old painting of mine that I re-worked with various filters. Hope you all enjoy it - fun to create.

Well, the old painting you re-worked is splendid. The petals of the Iris have great definition and texture, and work so well with the lovely background. The composition is well balanced and enhanced by the small buds below each blossom. Overall, a beautiful piece of art.  :)

You are becoming an expert at delicacy-this is so lovely- the lines in the flowers make for a wonderful graphic representation. Colors are also so harmonious. I am not so sure about the round disc-find it a little distracting. Everything else flows while this is a bit static. Just my 2 cents....

Cindy, I originally questioned the "round disc" and concluded it was the "sun" based upon its position in the frame and the golden color of the horizontal lines across it. However, I could be mistaken.  :)

Yes, it is supposed to be the sun. Needs to be brighter and clearer, I think.

Lovely and delicate - like looking at a piece of fine embroidery with the silken threads just perfect for the beautiful iris stems and flowers!
