Andre, thanks, I appreciate your feedback. Yes, the Nikkor Micro 200 is a classic, and if I recall correctly, you use that lens for some of your macro work, true?  :)

Wow- so beautiful, Ron, and so "painterly", as the saying goes. Love the brilliant colors, so well contrasted against a black background. I feel sort of mesmerized by it-terrific work!

Thanks, Cindy, this image was selected for inclusion in NANPA's 2017 Showcase (Altered Reality category), and I feel the "painterly" appearance you noted contributed to its success.  :)

I'm coming a bit late to the party here but I really love this one Ron, the wonderful spiral lines and saturated colours are just a gorgeous feast for the eyes. This makes me think of many happy hours spent beach combing along various shores. During the heat of the day the shells and pebbles become dry and rather dull in colour, then a wave rolls in and retreats to leave an amazing revitalized collection of sparkling jewels with their colours so rich and saturated, gleaming in the light!

Beautiful rendering. I love how the colors blend into the next as they go to the outer part of the shell. Nice use of Topaz Impression. Well deserved EP.
Keep them coming.

Exactly, Carol, the perfect description of the saturated colors in these wonderful shells. Thanks so much for your insight and kind words.
