Very dramatic, Sandy, against the dark background. Gorgeous colors. Love the delicate flowers and the long stem-composition works quite well. Must click on this to better see the graduated tones in the dark background and the glow around the flowers- makes all the difference. Lovely work!

Beautiful composition, and as has been said, very dramatic.  My first impression was that the white parts of the petals look translucent, and even though my mind tries to tell me they're not, that's the impression that sticks.  Well done!

I agree with all that has been said - simply a stunning image! The graduated tones in the background are terrific, and the leaves at the base do an excellent job of balancing your composition. Truly beautiful, Sandy!

A beautiful image Sandy! I love the almost ethereal glow of the blooms and the lovely colour palette.
