Gorgeous, Sandy. Such lush, rich colors and deep darks. It looks so velvety as only a rose can-you've gotten the essence of rosiness, I think. I can almost smell it!

I agree. The lush, rich colors draw me into the image. Beautiful!!!

I love your composition and the rich colour but for my personal taste I find the treatment too dark and heavy for such a subject, with the petals almost taking on a rigid, plastic feel.  Just my honest 2cents worth Sandy.

Thanks - I always solicit honest opinions, positive OR negative. That's how I learn to  see in different ways.
