There was a lovely sliver moonset the other evening here. Thought the photo could use some "effects"- Topaz, hand painting and coloring. Some proportions changed and trees altered.

Cindy, love the interplay between highlight and shadow, specifically the light tones in the sky (bottom right) beautifully framed by the trees. The moon is beautiful and perfectly placed in the frame, but it's the areas of sky the moon appears to be illuminating that makes the image for me. Also, I love the little stars included - not too bright but just enough to let us know they are there. Finally, the hand painting reminds us you are an artist, and that this is art. Beautiful!

Thank you Ron. Always appreciate your  very thoughtful comments. Interesting how these apps can change a picture. The stars weren't there in the original, but I saved the little white specs that arrived with the "painting".

Here's the original

I'm just waiting for ET and his young friend to come along on the bicycle!  8)

Seriously though, this is a lovely artwork from the original scene with beautiful use of the night colours and moonlight.  So peaceful, and one to look at for a long time and lose yourself in.
