I love amaryllis, and have about 15 by now, all sending up buds. This is the first to bloom. A light touch of fractalius here.

Your love for this flower is reflected in your image. Beautiful all the way around, from the leading line of the stem, to the starburst of color in the blossom. Very nicely done!

As Ron said. The border being in sympathy adds nicely too

Very fresh and inviting, Sandy. I like the light touch-just bringing out the lines in the flowers a bit as well as adding a little glow. Perhaps it adds a bit of dimension as well. Very interesting blue background and nice framing with the matching red line. Lovely!

I love them too, especially the rich reds. They really do make a statement!
