What a great image for the Topaz treatment. Isn't this the lion you photographed in the rain? Great timing to catch him with his mouth open, and I love the way Liquify handled the fur with all those swirls and twirls. Very creative work, Dave! Excellent!

hi Ron.  Thanks. Aye, it was.  I've come to the conclusion that some images are more suitable for treatment, like this Lion's fur... (translated, the image is the start point with the treatment being the tool of expression, if that makes sense)...  am very much in trial and error mode so am likely to dropping in some that work and some that don't...  :).  thanks, as always for the time you take to look and comment

Wow this has so much character! You really brought out the fierceness , shapes in the fur, and that tongue. His top tuft reminds me of the wizard of Oz Cowardly lion, but this guy doesn't look too bashful. ;).

Dave, I have come to the same conclusion. Certain images are definitely better candidates for certain treatments. The problem is that I'm running out of those "certain images."

Perfect treatment for the 'wet fur' look!   Love it!

Not familiar with Topaz, but this is cool. Looks like you turned it into a painting.
