I like the way you've created beautiful contrasts along with a certain softness to the trees, creating an ethereal mood to this work. The snow helps the effect, being also smooth and soft. Excellent composition as well. Altogether very pleasing and artistic.

I'm attracted to images such as this, multiple tree trunks, because of their intrinsic artistic value. Aspen, Birch or Cottonwood, there is just something about their pattern, if done well, that works. I like the black and white conversion here, and even more the multiple "eyes" I see in the bark of these birch trees. A very unique pattern and well done image!

excellent treatment Sandy. I'm a fan of the Birch trees, as they have so many beautiful characteristics and this is a beaut!
