Wow, just LOVE this!
Not sure if you left the head more in focus on purpose, or if that is the way the filter processed it - but it's perfect. The original image was surely stunning - and then this rendition is a true work of art.
really exceptional -

Thank you, Sandy. I did try to preserve the head, particulary the eye. Appreciate your input.

Stunning, Ron! The textures are perfect for the subject- love the way the crane blends in with the background in places, and stands out in other places. Beautifully composed with lovely gradation from light to dark. The pose itself is exciting, which adds much to the overall feeling of this creation. I can't find enough superlatives to describe this! Love it!

A beautiful pose with the forward swept wings, and a wonderful ethereal quality due to your delicate working of the scene. This is amazing Ron, and an absolute delight to view. Gorgeous!!

This is exrodinary! The plumes going everywhere go so well with the background. The colors are beautiful! You have sure nailed this Topaz work!

Thank you for your comments, AnnaMaria. Regarding Topaz, I'm learning that it takes a certain type of image for success. Many attempts end up as total rejects.

Mark, thank you. Are you making any progress toward a tablet? I read the thread you started, and it appeared some good information was provided. I'm still undecided, but I can't help but think it would be beneficial.

Ron, I really like this. You have the softness of the motion but you have a definitive eye.....beautifully done.

such a lovely and impressionistic image Ron.  Visually stunning in its own right, that extra detail in the head takes in into the stratosphere
