Very nice incoming flight pose showing remarkable detail in the spoonbill. The warm lighting is great, and the exposure is right on the money. The oil painting filter worked well, and it provides very nice texture throughout the image. One suggestion would be to add some canvas at the top so the wing tip would not be touching. :)  Overall, however, it is a very fine image. These are one of my favorite birds.

Beautiful light on this bird- a great photo in itself- the oil painting enhanced it nicely. Perhaps it brings out the colors. Agree with Ron about the wing tip-wouldn't take much to add some sky above.
