Painted this Gulf Fritillary and flower with Topaz Impression.  Then, I applied Topaz Textures. Please click on image to view full size.  Thank you.

Love this, Ron- such pleasing delicate tones and overall softness creates a lovely mood. The delicate nature of this is beautifully offset with pleasing edges that define the shapes. Textures too are very pleasing- looks like a crayon sketch, or pastel. Just beautiful- would love to see it on a wall!

This is so beautiful Ron, I love it as presented and there are infinite possibilities to change the appearance with subtle colour variations on part or all of this wonderful artwork. What a treat!

AnnaMaria, the "brush strokes" you mention were the reason I presented this primarily as a monotone painting.  The original colors of the butterfly and flower were orange and purple - vivid, and over the top. It was only when I introduced the painting in monotone style that the brush strokes became noticeable and visible - the look I was after.  Thanks for your observations and comments, they are truly appreciated.
