The underbelly of an ominous Great Plains severe storm a number of years ago, that I digitally remastered. I duo-toned the sky black and white to make the image more stark and to bring out the red in the barns. Thanks for looking!

Welcome, Mike!  You certainly succeeded in creating a sinister appearance in these storm clouds, and the red barns really stand out nicely.  The composition is excellent with the barns placed off center and more on the thirds. And the duo-tone worked beautifully.  I'm a big fan of your storm images, and loved the tornado image you recently posted in the Travel & Culture Gallery.  Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you much for the kind words, Ron!  I really appreciate the detailed comments.  I'll keep posting- plenty more to share!  -Mike

That's a striking rendition! Such dramatic contrasts-the reds really pop against the ominous sky, which is also very well done. I like the perspective too, looking from amongst the grasses. Is this a composite, or one picture that you re-mastered? Terrific job!! (And welcome to P&DA!).

Very effective treatment Mike -- the clouds look really menacing.
