I photographed this Butterflyfish at a public aquarium and painted it using Photoshop CS6 and Topaz Impression (tweaking the presets).  Please click on image to view larger version with dark background.  Thank you.

Nikon DX, 200-400mm, f/4 @1/50, ISO 800, tripod.

That's a wowzer, Ron! So colorful, and it really looks hand painted. If I were to guess, I'd say pastel, but you never can tell with Topaz. ;). Doesn't matter- the effect is brilliant. I can see it enlarged really big and hanging on a wall, maybe in a hospital or somewhere that would cheer people right up.

Absolutely gorgeous artwork Ron!

The clean lines and vibrant colours are a real feast for the eyes and the overall effect is so uplifting. I am sure that large prints of this would grace any wall and interior designers would love to use this to complement contemporary homes and public buildings.

Chelmon rostratus ! Copperband Butterfly fish are beautiful all by themselves. But this takes it to another level. Very cool.
