This is Stubb's Falls in Arrowhead Provincial Park.  I applied a subtle oil painting filter to a recent image.

The effect is better seen on the Flickr version. I especially like the rendering of the leaves.
Very nice.

Beautifully done! The textures are just right- not overdone, and those gorgeous fall color are so nicely enhanced-especially the little leaf speck in the water. Nicely designed too- the eye flows through the picture just as the water does. (Click on the picture here for the same effect as on Flickr.). The darks , especially, come out in the larger version.

Gorgeous image -- I would like to see it larger rather than give up so much area to the frame

Thanks Stan, it is odd that occasionally the Flickr version looks better.

Thank you Cynthia.  This is such a great little water fall and it's character changes so much with the level of the water flow and in the Fall it can be spectacular.

Thank you Gary, I was really pleased with this version and may ultimately have it printed on canvas.

The large version, when I click on this image, is excellent - the detail and brush strokes are much more visible. Well done!
