Taken from a canoe so the natural blur made it easy to paint :P

I like this desert image much more than your last one...the cactus reflections in water are pleasantly unusual, I wound guess such reflections are something that has been seen in person by fewer than 1% of all humans who have ever lived.
Thank You

What an interesting picture- the cactus reflections are quite striking as is their bright contrast in the scene. I like how they are placed like sentinels standing along the shore. What did you do to "paint" this? It looks quite natural. Steve's comment is intriguing- a very rare sight?

Thank - you. Due to resize the painted effect lost detail. In a larger size it is easier to see. Saguaros are quite unique in and of themselves. Cactus and water are somewhat rare - especially saguaro next to a lake shore. I have seen a few in Mexico along a beach of all places. After looking at this I think the whites need to come up a bit.

Thanks for the explanation- I really like it as is-the colors balance nicely, I think. I was curious about the unusual combination of cactus and water, as you mentioned, and what you did to paint it.  Just curiosity- nothing more... though it is always fun to know what people are doing in this forum especially, as photos are altered more than usual here. :)

Love your Saguro images, this one included!  The reflection makes it, for me!
