Several big brands like Google and Amazon are refusing to sell ivory.   But Yahoo cares more about the ivory money than the extinction of these desperate creatures.

Boycott Yahoo now !

Yahoo has its biggest audience in China...it would be very significant if they stopped the ivory trade.  What about Baidu the Chinese ebay?  Social media is the new dark web for animal parts

thanks for that (TFT) mike

and not all bad news; i.e. last few sentences of that article show progress:

"Although China has been frequently criticized for its incompetence in stopping ivory smuggling and driving the illegal ivory trade through soaring demand, the country has stepped up efforts to regulate the ivory market and fight poaching.

On January 6, Chinese government destroyed 6.1 tons of confiscated ivory in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, a first for the Chinese mainland

Hooray!!!!   :D  I would be elated to see China's President follow through on what he promised.....an ivory boycott.  He can do it!

now, just maybe, we can start to get countries to coalesce a militia to physically stamp out the poachers who are feeding the terrorists the ivory.

with oil down, if the ivory market dries, what will those devils run on?
