 I was pondering why is it exactly that everything, not just some things, but everything that's alive, why is it that it all has some clock ticking down to that inevitable moment when it all stops...


Seems to me that understanding this question and knowing the answer is almost totally fundamental as far as being in touch with life itself.  Another way of stating it is that life could not exist without death....Natures plan is just this, and we as photo people would derive many a theme from the realization and implementation of such themes in our art if the consciousness was embraced fully. Not saying it is not in some already of course...

So I'd like to share what I came up with, but first I thought it would be interesting to hear what others thought about why all life has to have this death clock in their genetic codes, or is it something else?
