Well the year was the year of the Stilt it was hard not to photograph them it seemed anywhere I went I would find one. This is my favorite Silt image from this year I hope you like it.

Nice shot Jimmy, Classic stilt..... almost always up to their bellies in the water.

I like the silky look of the water and how it blends seamlessly with the sky. But there is something disorienting about the legless body. Maybe its the way the reflection joins with the body with no hint of legs. In any case, overall a nice image.

Jimmy,

I love the water in this shot. It almost has a murky feel to it which I find enticing. Very well done. The little droplet of water at the end of the bill is another nice touch.

Jimmy,

Both the water and the bird make this shot; very nice!

Gorgeous image, the side-lighting and head turn really help the bird pop.

Very nice shot. The pose, low angle, and the BG make this something special.

What so special about this shot is the smooth silky look where the water blends with the sky(?) ...
Well done, Jimmy!

Very, very nice. I think I'd frame it as a 4:5 image rather than 3:2. A little off the bottom and more off the top.
