I am not sure if I have posted this anywhere before. this was taken on an STL with Chas on Long Island this summer. I was trying to fill the frame as much as I could without clipping the wings. Sure wasn't easy. I shot mostly digital so i could hit the delete button. I thought this one was a keeper though.

Cheryl,
This most definitely is a keeper. I love the diagonal position of the bird.
Nice job.

Cheryl,
Great composition, the diagonal is excellent and it is sharp. Keep it, print it, enjoy it! 8). I have a 10D and understand how hard it is to keep focus plus track. The 10 D makes it so much harder. This is a real keeper.

The angle, along with the front-on view, makes it feel like it's cutting right at you. I like the knife edge look.

I would have kept it, and it would have been my best Osprey shot!

Fairly unusual for an Osprey to convey such a straight-winged impression.

Sweet one for sure. I like how the whole body is tilted and yet the head remains level. Cool.

This is great......a definite keeper. Not an easy job to get the angle, all the bird in the frame.....and have it sharp. Mission accomplished.

Very nicely done, let's hear it for digital cameras. :) The head detail is tough to see at this size but I'm sure it's stunning.
