Captured this photo the other day. I realize that some fill flash would have helped being that it was cloudy. I changed the background from gray to blue, plus a little saturation and usm. This little guy was on a pole line staring out into the field across from my truck. I set up and waited for him to go and fortunately he flew right over the truck.

Fantastic detail. The sky looks a little light to me but I'm using a Mac so I don't know if is just his computer.

The pose and action are super.

I might have used another tone of blue though.

Great shot!

Whoa, nice catch. Agree a darker shade of blue or something as the BG is a little bright, but then I prefer a darker BG

Almost looks like a F4U Corsair from WWII.

The shade of blue you chose looks nice on this monitor. I love the eye contact.

Unusual shot, Rob. The lines and curves and bilateral symmetry are wonderful.

Love the background! It is like a studio shot! The subject tilting to a little my left make it more real and creats a feeling of broken symmetary. :)

Excellent work.

Rob,

That's a killer shot! Did you trained him to flight straight at the camera?
