Here's the elusive least bittern. It took me close to half hour calling "Uh-uh-uh-oo-oo-oo" for this breeding male. Finally he felt the pressure of the intruder and went to check me out. Cute little guys. Waiting for this breeding season to get more. Taken at Wakodahatchee.

Excellent shot of this male and his breeding lores. Wonderful detail.

I'd crop from the left to the edge of the dark green shoot that hides a small portion of the bird's body. I would balance that with a bottom crop that brings the image approximately to a 3:2 ratio.

Great shot of a great bird.

I like the different approach to this. Nice framing.

I'd also crop the left reed.

Very nice colors and detail.
The leaf that covers part of the bird on the left doesn't bother me.
Very nice shot!

This is probably the nicest composition I've seen for a Least Bittern. The colors, sharpness and detail are awesome!! I wouldn't change a thing. :)

Excellent shot. If I would find a nit it's that I might be tempted to crop a bit off the bottom.
