Bald Eagle - Homer, Alaska, USA
EOS 10D, 500mm, 1.4x, 1/100, f/8, Flash @ -1, ISO 400

Greetings from Homer, Alaska. Our connections are very slow so we can't view images easily this week but here is a Bald Eagle head shot I took today. It took about 5 minutes just to upload. The conditions which are cloudy are giving us plenty of opportunity to experiment with different ambient/flash combinations.

Excellent. The clean, colorful beak on this one is great.

Lovely E.J.

As long as the BG is not entirely grey, but still got some blue in there overcast days are fine. Especially with species with whites in them.

The bill is awesome!
