Alan

What a smorgasbord of color. I like the composition on this, but wish for more room on the right side to balance it out. A spectacular image of a neat bird.

Beautiful, Alan. I wish only to see the entire tail, but that darned rock won't let me.

Alan,

This is so freakin' nice that even the tail/rock merge is forgivable. :D

Beauty, Alan. Gotta love that BG. IMO, perfect composition with the bird on the mound.

Beautiful bird! Awesome.

Love the BG.

Some very minor nits. As you are very good, you will appreciate them:
Tail just behind the rock and Whites look a bit blown, which doesn't help in the facial region.

Great shot

Wonderful composition. The "spring green" BG and flowers give it a lively, fresh feeling. Excellent!

One way to bring an excellent bird portrait over the top is to include a breathtaking environment. You did it here!
