 Our local tern colony has really prospered this year and I've enjoyed watching these little birds grow up over the last several months. I had a very nice afternoon/evening this past Sunday shooting the colony... there were >1000 birds congregated and isolating single birds was a major challenge. I caught this juvenile coming in for a landing at last light. I hope that you like it! Canon 1D, 500IS and 2x, 1/400 at f8, ISO400. Tripod/Wimberley/Waders. Processed with C1/Neatimage/PS7.
