Taken at a local pond near Atlanta. The foreground could be better, but I like the way the bird looks. I cloned out a distracting branch in the foreground. Comments appreciated.

10D, 100-400 IS, ISO 100, 1/500, f6.3, handheld.

Excellent exposure and wonderful pose. I'd be tempted to crop a sliver off the left. Very nice shot!!

Thank you for the comments. Alan, you had me laughing with your comment that I missed it! :lol:

Here is the image with some of the suggestions about the left cropping and the "tree" removed. I really need to work more on my PS skills. It is a much stronger image I think. Comments appreciated.
