Female northern pintail

This little honey seemed to get lost in the numbers of other ducks during the recent Duckshop. But as you can see she can stand (swim) on her own merits. Although not as elegant as her mate she is a charmer through and through.
Canon 10D, Canon 400/2.8 + 1.4 TC. Gitzo and Wimberly. ISO 200, other techs not immediately locatable. Cropped 10% on left and slightly on top.

Beautiful bird and water. For printing, I'd try to clone out the dark areas of the water that intersect with the bill.
