Geo,

I've tried this kind of shot of a Fulmar a couple of times (conditions conducive to it are fairly rare around here), and I've never quite gotten what I wanted. I'd say you did pretty well here, but I find myself wishing the bird were more to the foreground.

That's a whole lot of water and an awful lonely bird. Great image.

Agreed...More of a landscape with a bird that happens to be in the frame
