A bit soft, still getting used to using a longer lens & definitely need to get a better tripod/head & maybe a better beamer.
Shot at Phoenix Zoo on Sunday, I guess I just missed meeting E.J.
Thanks for looking, any & all comments appreciated.

Corey,

I particularly like the reflection color on the water, what was creating that color?

I understand your comment on getting use to the long lens as I am still learning to use my 100-400IS. But my brand new Kirk ballhead to go along with my new 550ex flash should help. But while I am coming up the learning curve I expect there will be lots I am not happy with.

Cool looking water. I think rotating it a bit counter clockwise would make it look even better.

I was just going to say that it needed a CCW rotation and E.J. beat me to it. Wonderful water and a gorgeous duck. Very nice.

Corey, I agree with the tilt and a catchlight could help here. Nice shot.

Great job on the exposure!! I had a real hard time with these pintails last year at DuckShop. My nits have been covered.

Very nice, Corey -- great water colors and good use of flash to balance the lighting.

The water is definitely very nice. A catchlight would make a big difference.
