I just had to post this image...

We have a new addition to our family, a little girl (first child) born yesterday morning. The baby and mom are doing great!

I took this picture the evening after our first sonogram so it has a lot of extra meaning. At the time it didn't seem that significant, but now I think it's the most meaningful shot I've ever taken. It will be framed above hear crib here very soon.

Thought some of my new friends made while in New Mexico might want to know about the baby...

We planned it pretty well, bird photography is slow right now. By the time migration starts she should be sleeping through the night :D .

Back to the hospital...

I've been waiting for the announcement -- congrats.

love the image -- I know the perch isn't ideal but I like it since this is often where I see birds perched.

Neat shot and very cute too.

Congratulations. Start the way, you intend to carry on! Being a parent has it's ups and downs, I have four boys and believe it or not I would not give even one of them back.

Pretty little bird. It will make a great image to hang over the crib.
Congratulations on both counts. :D

Congratulations, Chris. It seems like yesterday that we had our first child - that was nearly 48 years ago. It all goes by like a rocket, so get the most out of your life and love your child dearly.
