After posting the male some time ago, I have been trying to get the female to pose nicely for me. Finally this weekend she came away from the male far enough for me to get one or two clear shots.

This is the best of them.

Comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Nice one, Dave. The silvery water makes for an interesting image. Perhaps a slightly lower angle if that was possible.

dave, love the water and the look on the Ducks face. I might put her a little lower in the frame.

She's a sweetheart, Dave. I love the moment you chose to press the shutter - her coy look is endearing. :)

What a a great look! I agree about the lower angle but I kinda like the way you have positioned in the frame.

Terrific pose and expression. Getting a lower angle might be nice but it isn't always possible. I have been frustrated on several occasions by this limitation.
Wonderful shot.

It's possible that you could have taken a dunking with your gear, but I like this as it is. I've not seen one and your image gives such clarity. The water is very nice, the feathers on the crown are well identified and rest of the detail is superb.
