Turkey Tom ( Captive-Crandon Park)

All dressed up an glowing like a jewel he steps out of his Favela and heads out to Rio for the Carnival, This Samba dancer is going to paint the town!!
That's what came to mind when I saw him displaying his wonderful iridescence, more like a bird in love, he displays for the hens who most times pay little attention to his antics!!!
I am posting a bit early because my computer is going to be redone with a new mother board , bigger engine and more brains today, It may not come up for a while is things go wrong!!, Hope all goes well!!

Looks like this guy has a vase of Vidiians Fage (A Star Trek reference)
Other than the face the colors and iridescence are awesome. I like your choice of composition.

Lovely composition, and the body feathers look right. To me, though, the facial skin is pale and pink compared to the robust scarlet I'm used to seeing on Toms. A seasonal thing, perhaps?

Alex, Turkey Tom is indeed the most exceptional fellow I've ever seen!!! His feather array shines proudly with glorious colors and fringes!! You've said it best, MA: 'glowing like a jewel' ... I fully agree!!! I love him mucho!!! 8) 8) 8)

Great neon turkey, Alex. Last time at Crandon I tried to get this guy, but he walked into the shade. You fared much better. Maybe he thinks you're a turkey.

Gorgeous colors and composition. This bird just glows. :)

Alex, can you tell me a little more about Crandon Park? What species are found there, etc?

Tom never looked so good. The colors and composition are excellent. I'd say he's ready to paint the town.....just as you've painted his image. Another Crandon winner!!!

Looks proud as a peacock - with good justification. Perhaps Sandy tried to hug this guy too and that's why he stayed in the shade for him? :)
