I know I'm pulling out old images because I haven't been out shooting in weeks!
This is from the STL workshop in Orient Point in June this year. I was shooting with NDCheryl's D60 because at that time my 10D was not working. 1/1250, F 8, ISO 200 300/2.8 with 2x teleconverter on, no flash. Some PS work.
Comments and critiques always welcome!

Gail,

Terrific timing. The pose and exposure are excellent. Great shot!

Very nice! Great timing, very sharp with excellent detail. And what a gorgeous blue sky to enhance the bird!

FWIW I like it better with a tighter crop off the top and right.

Gail,

Very nice shot. You captured the wingspread very well. I like how the legs and talons are preparing for landing.

Very nice Gail.

I'd take a bit off the left. Great wing position.

I like that you got the edge of the nest and the bird coming in for a landing at it. I have tried to get this type of shot but thus far have been unsuccessful. Great timing!

Well done. I agree with Alan, it would be improved with the bird further left in the frame. You might consider cropping a bit.
