10D - 100/400-1.4TC- 1/60 @ f7.0- Eval -2/3- Fill Flash -1 -Tripod- Sidekick


Captive Hawk taken on 1/20/04 at Homosassa Springs State Park, Florida. Very bright sunny morning, but cold for here at 50 degrees. Hawk was watching a squirrel which was wandering a few feet away.

Lovely bird and typical binocular stare !!, Love the head to a side!!
Looks as if EV-1/3 could have helped on the exposure, and a touch more USM, But nice as is!!! Congrats!! 8)
