Taken last Saturday; very dull day the kind I call an ISO 400 day. It had just started snowing. There were Redheads, Scaup, Canada Geese, Longtails, Goldeneye, Mallards, Mute & Trumpeter Swans at LaSalle Park in Burlington, Ontario. Ofcourse the exotic fowl were further away from shore and much to far for my 100-400. The Swans and Geese were doing the usual flyby occasionally, as I always find flight shots difficult I tried just shooting as much as I could.

This was the only shot worth keeping. I cropped to remove a Gull and maintain the clouds at the bottom.

Thanks for looking and look forward to your comments.

The sky color and the cloud tops send this over the top. Outstanding photo.

The birds are wonderfully positioned, and I love the sky, especially the clouds at the bottom, but also the blue above, into which the birds are flying.

Very nice image of this good looking pair. The seperation and relation to the clouds is very appealing.

Very nice Lat, the azure sky is a remarkable feature of Burlington Bay this time of the year. Two birds wings up and no visible tags, well done.

Hi Lat,

I have to agree with the others. I think this is simply outstanding. the soft tones, clouds, and balance are just perfect.
