At the Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson they have a free flight raptor experience. It is really awesome. This was one of 4 hawks that they were flying for nearly 20 minutes. Very educational and quite exciting...this hawk flew probably 1 foot over my head while diving to the glove of the handler...that image while quite vivid in my mind is quite a blurred mess on silicone... :-)

The perspective of being above the clouds with the hawk is why I really liked this image.

Jeff,
That doesnt look like the pelicans we were shooting last Sunday?
I really like the two layers of clouds and how you got him inbetween them both. It stands out well.

ps.
Ditto to anything Terry Brashear says to this one.

I love how the hawk is coming at the camera. A pano crop takes this one up a notch for me. :D

A little bit off the top gets my vote too. Nice job catching the hawk between the cloud layers.
